Albie: closed beta data notice

This closed beta is operated by Alberti, who is responsible for halberti.com, for invited users. Before collection starts, the extension asks you to confirm this data use.
Data we collect
When capture is enabled, Albie collects the loaded text from the open one-to-one WhatsApp Web conversation in both directions, together with available names, identifiers, and dates. It does not open other conversations, fetch the complete chat history, or analyze groups, audio, or images.
We store captured messages, including messages that do not produce a memory; the context used for analysis; model requests and responses; proposed and saved facts; summaries; suggestions; and corrections. A conversation can contain personal or sensitive data about you and other people.
How we use data
We use the data to distinguish personal and commercial conversations, create and verify memories and commercial records, suggest next steps, correct errors, and improve the product. Our team can read specific messages only when you give explicit consent for those messages, when access is necessary for security or a legal obligation, or when we use anonymized and aggregated data for internal operations. General acceptance of the beta does not permit human review of all conversations. We use fictional examples for routine prompt testing. We also record response times, failures, attempts, model use, and product actions to measure performance and quality.
We do not sell conversation data, use it for advertising, use it to determine creditworthiness or for lending, or transfer it for purposes unrelated to Albie's stated conversation-memory function. Provider access is limited to delivering this service. Albie's use and transfer of data follows the applicable Microsoft Edge Add-ons and Chrome Web Store user-data and limited-use requirements.
Where data is processed
Messages and memories are also stored in the extension on your device. The backend uses Cloudflare to process queues and store data. Albie sends content needed for analysis to TypeSafe and OpenAI. Their policies and the terms of the accounts used by the Albie team apply to provider processing. OpenAI's store: false setting does not mean that the provider has no retention of any kind.
Retention and controls
This beta has no automatic deletion period. You can pause capture, export local content, and delete data from this browser. Pausing does not cancel requests that were already sent. Local deletion or extension removal does not delete server copies. Data is not synchronized automatically between computers.
In Firefox, technical and interaction data is optional in the add-on permissions. If you do not allow it, we omit diagnostic headers and extra usage events. Necessary content and server processing records continue to be used.
Contact, access, and deletion
Contact Alberti through the support page. Include the installation ID shown in the extension options to request access to or deletion of hosted records. Pause the extension before a deletion request so that it does not send new data. Data that providers must retain remains subject to their policies.
We will address additional privacy requirements before an official public release. The full retention used in this beta does not define the policy for a future public version.
